Chessington Community College Exam Results

Chessington students celebrate the schools best ever GCSE results – 66% A*-C including English and Mathematics
With 66% A* – C including English and maths we are proud to say that these are the best GCSE results the school as ever had.  These students worked tirelessly throughout this year, guided by our high quality teachers, showing a developing maturity and academic focus that will now put them on the path to success in young adult life.
Some of our success stories:
Callum Paul who achieved 12 A* to A grades
Dyar Hussain who achieved 11 A* to A grades
Pranav Shah who achieved 9 A* to A grades
Holly Corbett who achieved 8 A* to A grades
UPDATE March 2017: We have also now been selected as a High Performing School following a Progress 8 score of +0.36 that places us as the highest performing mixed school in Richmond and Kingston. We are now near the top of the Local Authority League tables for all schools in Richmond and Kingston.
While these are the top grades many more of our students made absolutely fantastic progress and I am just as proud of each student who outperformed even their own expectations. It has been so much fun celebrating with them this morning and with the new government progress measures we will be as good as any school in Richmond or Kingston on progress; likely even better.
I am really proud of what my excellent students and committed staff have achieved in my first year as the Headteacher our school. We have climbed above a number of local schools in the league tables. I am just as proud of each student who outperformed even their own expectations and it has been so much fun celebrating with them this morning.
The young people in year 11 and indeed all year groups are some of the very best I’ve worked and this is shown in their exam performance which is way above schools and other students across England.
We are all very excited about what is happening at our school. Chessington is a place of focus, traditional values and enjoyment. This is being seen in these results and in many more ways. We are all looking forward to much more success in the future.
