4 schools from Kingston attended, Lovelace, Malden Manor, St Paul’s Primary and St Andrew’s & St Mark’s, each bringing 10 children along to try to become the Kingston Champions.

CCC students participated in RAF endurance marching event

Callum Westcott and George Elliott were selected to take part in an endurance marching event at RAF Cosford in Staffordshire in April this year. They were in the same squadron which came out third out of 100, beating the German and American military.

Rebecca won AHT Hairdressing National Competition

As a result of winning the area competitions, Carlie and Rebecca qualified to compete in the finals of the National Hair Festival held in the Blackpool Winter Gardens on 18th March. The standard of hairdressing was extremely high and after a day of intense pressure for both girls, Rebecca was announced as the overall winner of her category.

Year 12 Film Studies Students attended preview of Spirit of ’45

Azra Mohamedali, Harry Pearce and Nathan Balfourth were then selected to interview the director – an interview that was filmed and will be used to promote the film all over the UK. They were were chosen by Film Studies teacher Ms McCoach for their maturity, hard work and enthusiasm for the subject.
