All students from year 7 to 10 took part in a PSHE day this month. Throughout the day students rotated on a carousel to a range of workshops held by guest speakers from charity based foundations in the local area. Mental health awareness was the focus for our lower years through to substance misuse and joint enterprise to our year 9’s and 10’s.
We were extremely lucky to have The Daniel Spargo-Mabbs Foundation come and perform their ‘Mum I love you, I promise I wont die’ play to our year 9 – 11’s. It had a huge impact on our students understanding of being safe when faced with drugs and peer pressure.
The day was highly successful with a real buzz around the college of students learning about social and emotional welfare.
